The Cora 48 originated from the very successful Heliotrope range of power catamarans, with many now exploring the world’s best cruising grounds in Asia Pacific, America, and Europe.
The redesign of the Heliotrope 48 was a project initiated by the late composite expert and boat builder Mr. Paul Scholten, who had great respect for the design and its builder Mr. Philippe Guenat.
Paul spent many months reviewing every part of the design to bring about its new look with the team at PMG and The Yacht Sales Co, to create the Cora 48 Catamaran of today.
PMG Shipyard was first established in 2004, a privately held company with Swiss ownership and management, having a strong European presence in management and key technical positions with world-renowned members of the advisory board.
Initially, PMG’s reputation was built on the production of small leisure yachts. Soon, the word spread about the excellent craftsmanship of their tailor-made commercial vessels and moderately sized catamarans.
PMG Shipyard has been expanding over the years to be able to fulfill an ever-growing demand for luxury yachts from our partners and customers.
